Busy summer!!!
Its been a fantastic year so far...and the summer is just getting started. We started with a smashing performance at Naach Revolution. Working with all the budding artists is always so fulfilling. Their eagerness to learn and their energy is fantastic. This year's performance on the Mayya Mayya song from the movie Guru was full of arabic dance moves, and beautiful formations. And then there were cart wheels, and hula hoops, and tambourines, and butterfly wings! All in all - an award winning performance at Naach Revolution 2012.
Which leads to the next performance with the "big kids" :) All the beautiful ladies who balanced their jobs, kids, housework and came for the practice sessions. Big thanks to all the family members of the participants who supported us in making this possible. Months and months of practice was showing on the stage. I have to admit, that as much as I enjoy performing the final show, I equally enjoy the process of getting there. Its all the friendships, the ups and downs, the learning experiences, and the camaraderie which culminates into a dazzling performance. To be appreciated and recognized with an award, is like a cherry on top. So friends, I hope you will join me in whatever the next undertaking will be.
