Yesterday's Marathi Vishwa Vasantosav program was such a treat. It was great to see the younger generation participating enthusiastically in Indian programs. The Crossroads school Auditorium was packed. There were songs, dances, plays, skits - you name it. When I see all these young kids doing such an awesome job, it always rejuvenates me. There is so much to learn from them - I think that combination of confidence and humility starts diminishing as we get older. How can you be afraid of "stage fear" if you haven't even heard of it yet? So here is my tip of the day - to be at your creative best, keep your fears and ego aside. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, but learn from each mistake so that the next performance becomes better. I know, its easier said than done. But I intend to try.
Our performance of the one act play "Waiting" got a very good response from the audience. A story of two women in different phases of life, stuck in a railway waiting room. It was a pleasure and privilege to share the stage once again with the incredibly talented Madhuwanti Bhat, under Prashant Gijare's direction. Prashant also did the sound arrangements. Thanks to Meghana Bhave for makeup and lights and all our friends who came to help and show their support.

I hope we did justice to the script written by Madhu's brother Parag Vanarse. The pencil sketch was also done by Parag.
